Teacher PD
Whatawhata School is so excited to have Barbara Brann visiting our school this year. She is one of the leading lights in early literacy acquisition, phonological development and handwriting. An experienced educator and professional speaker of 40 plus years, Barbara has worked with teachers throughout the world to improve learning outcomes for children. Her philosophy for learning is “get it right from the start”, while her passion lies in ensuring children are ready for school, for learning, for curriculum.
With so many other schools requesting her support we are proudly hosting an open session for all educators on Tuesday 4 June, 3.30 - 6.45pm, introducing her highly effective approach for handwriting through Casey the Caterpillar
Full details are on the attached flyer. Please email Rachel McNutt, rachelm@whatawhata.school.nz if you would like to attend or find out more.
FYI Whatawhata School is approximately 10 minutes west of Hamilton on the road to Raglan
