What a wild few weeks it has been in Aotearoa. We are sending aroha to all who have been displaced or affected by Cyclone Gabrielle, no doubt a lot of our colleagues up and down the country are experiencing a monumental workload ahead of them as they rebuild.

Courageous Leadership

Brisbane Study Tour 2023
The Waikato Principals Association are leading their Annual Study Tour to Brisbane (Australia) from Wednesday 2 August until Saturday 5 August . The tour will start on Wednesday with a meet and greet session over dinner and visits to local Brisbane schools on Thursday 3 Aug. On Friday and Saturday members will attend the National Education Summit for educators and leaders. This conference will offer up to date, meaningful and innovative content for school leaders including: Diverse Learners Symposium, STEM across the curriculum and wellbeing for future focused schools.
More information will be shared at our Rotorua Retreat. Put it in your calendar now and stay tuned to our Monday mailings for more information. The WPA fee will support: Accomodation, Dinner Wednesday / Thursday night, School tours Thursday and travel to and from the conference.
