A message from Lesley
Tēnā tātou katoa,
Ngā mihi o te Tau Hou.
I hope you were able to enjoy some well-earned rest and recreation over the holiday period, despite the inclement weather.
For those of us who started our school year last week, hopefully your first few days of 2023 went well. For those starting their school year today, may you have a wonderful first week with your students as they return to school.
The WPA executive is looking forward to an exciting year ahead with a focus on 'Courageous Leadership'. The team has been busy organising this year's events. We are planning to provide you with some great opportunities to be inspired, and for you to connect and interact with your colleagues throughout the year. This starts with our 2023 Waikato Principals' Retreat in Rotorua on the 8th, 9th, and 10th of March. Registrations for this event are currently open on the WPA website and we look forward to seeing those who can make it in Rotorua.
Enjoy your week everyone.
Ngā manaakitanga,
Lesley
