A message from Lesley
Ngā mihi nui i tēnei te wiki tuatahi o te wāhanga hōu. Greetings to you all in the first week of the new term.
I hope you were able to enjoy some well-deserved rest and relaxation over the holiday break.
As we head into Term 3 many of you will have revisited your Covid-19 safety measures and communication to whānau following the latest pānui from Iona Holsted last week.
I hope the beginning of the term goes well and you are not impacted too much by the recent increase in Covid-19 cases.
The WPA Study Tour to Otago is fast approaching and we look forward to seeing those of you who are joining us in Dunedin in Week 3.
The itinerary is confirmed and we are looking forward to visiting some great schools while we are there.
Have a great first week back everyone.

A quick, easy listen from Simon Sinek:
Leadership Game Theory
Simon Sinek gives important talk on how to be a leader and that really starts with us understanding what it is to be a leader.
Simon Sinek opens our eyes about leadership. Managers get promoted because they get better at their work, but once they are promoted, they no longer are responsible about the work but about the people, doing the work. Management is about real leadership. and how do you lead? Who teaches you to be a leader? That is a big problem.
