Happy Week 9 – it was so great to connect and catch up with so many of you at the Connections Day. The final sprint to the finish line of Term 2 is on. A busy time no doubt with reports, staff sickness etc taking its toll, but, we can do it!
Take care!

Tēnā tātou katoa
Mānawatia a Matariki! I hope you all had a wonderful Matariki break and were able to celebrate in some way. It was very special to be able to celebrate the first indigenous public holiday here in Aotearoa.
This is our final WPA newsletter for the term and as Term 2 draws to a close my hope is that you have some rest and relaxation planned for the school holidays. It has been a busy term and many of our colleagues have struggled to find relief staff as the Winter bugs along with Covid-19 have taken their toll on staff absence. Fingers crossed that you are able to hold on for the remainder of the term and the rest of the term goes well for you.
Thank you to those who were able to attend our first WPA Connections Day for the year on the 16th of June. We announced our WPA Study Tour which went 'live' on our website during the Connections Day. The Study Tour registrations are filling up fast and you can find out all the details about the tour to Dunedin and Queenstown on our website. We are looking forward to visiting Otago schools and spending some valuable time together from August 9th to August 12th. The focus of the 'Tour' is the Aotearoa/New Zealand Histories curriculum.
Kia pai ō koutou wiki.
Ngā manaakitanga,
Lesley
