Principals supporting Principals… Principals supporting Principles!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Chris May, Principal at Tauhei School has recently released his website where you can purchase his incredible books check it out!

Chris is super passionate about Educating Boys, I have just ordered: 'Let's Do Something Else: Creating Learning for Boys that Works' and can vouch that 'Running with a Hurricane' is a great, thought provoking read. I love Chris' tagline - Do we really think that it’s the boys that are the problem?
Side note - Don’t forget to register for our upcoming retreat.

As Principals, everyday we face enormous amounts of pressure - Athletes train their bodies to run faster, jump higher, throw farther -- so why don't they train their minds, too? Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson talks about the power of "neutral thinking," which helps him thrive under pressure (both on the field and off) -- and shows how you can use this mindset to make the right moves in your own life.

What’s it all about? Leading Change in Schools.
Michael Fullan argues that change knowledge is ‘a forever proposition’ for schools, observing that there will never be a time when we are no longer implementing change. This series of workshops will explore some of the key findings from Mark Osborne's recent PhD at the University of Melbourne on leading change in schools. Topics will include building momentum and urgency for change; supporting people to 'take the leap' into new practices; engaging with resistance to change; and embedding change into the fabric of the organisation to ensure sustainability.
