Reminder: Annual Accounts
Did you know that your Annual Audited Accounts had to be published on the school website or equivalent as outlined below???? Changes made in 2017!
Filing your 2017 Annual Report Annual reports (including audited financial statements) need to be submitted to the Ministry via the School Data Portal by Thursday 31 May. Please submit a single PDF file using the drop down option, ‘Annual Report (31 May)’.
Please refer to Circular 2017/04 – Annual Reporting for detailed instructions on submitting your annual report.
Publishing your annual report Your board is required to make your school’s annual report available to the public on an internet site maintained by or on behalf of the board.
If your school does not have an internet site, please email planning.reporting@education.govt.nz to request we publish it on our website, Education Counts Your board is responsible for ensuring your annual report does not contain information that may breach the privacy of an individual. Guidance about publishing your documents online is available on our website. Guidelines about the Privacy Act are available from the New Zealand School Trustees Association [PDF].
