Important message
For all those people who have signed up for our NZPF Conference Tour Group, we strongly recommend that you attend the next Catch Up Day as we will be hosting a logistic meeting at the end of the day over a quiet beer and wine. (No more than 30 minutes)
During this time, we will go over the arrangements for this tour group for our time in Queenstown. As part of this, checking our accommodation arrangements, we will also be discussing car- pooling to Auckland, along with transfers from the airport into Queenstown as people will be arriving at different times.
Kind Regards
Your Tour Hosts
Tony, Tony and Hamish

Well-being Survey
A note from NZEI - The Health and Wellbeing Survey
What ?
The Health and Wellbeing Survey for school principals and AP/DP's is now online.
How?
You can access the survey in 3 easy steps by going to the link below view the - click on NZ - click on 'Take the Survey'
http://principalhealth.org/
The survey takes about 40 minutes. You can do it in blocks.
The survey is administered by an independent group, it is confidential and rigorous
Who can do the survey?
Principals and AP/DP's
Why would you bother ?
Principal Hauora is an issue. Your contribution to the survey matters.
Next year the Primary Principal Collective Agreement is expiring and workload, career framework and pay are highly likely to be key areas claims will be based around.
Any claim is strengthened when there is quantitative evidence to support a claim, anecdotal evidence is not enough on its own.
This independent survey will provide the information and evidence required to formulate messaging going into the collective agreement negotiations.
Important to know
In last year's survey the respondents communicated they enjoyed their job and got a lot of job satisfaction from principal-ship and senior leadership. So, it's not only the disgruntled doing the survey.
Take time to do the survey and encourage your leadership team to do the same.
