Monday Mailing -Connections Day Reminder

  • Make time to look after yourself and your leadership teams! A WPA Executive reminder of good practice.
  • Rico Gomez- Fighting Metal Fatigue, Looking for Revitalisation

Make time to look after yourself and your leadership teams! A WPA Executive reminder of good practice.

This is just a gentle reminder in amongst the reports, curriculum changes, audits, winter wet day blues and the carnage that comes with short terms, that taking care of yourself is a must. As is taking the opportunity to step out with your AP's, DPs and leaders to enjoy some positive self care time. Remember your wellness, hauora and health should be prioritised, and not just talked about or 'fixed' over a beer or wine on a Friday afternoon.

If you look, or feel, anything like the images below, or just need a positive pick up, then we are strongly encouraging Principals to explore the Connections Day opportunity offered this Thursday at FMG Stadium. Rico Gomez is the man.

We promise good food, great company, provocation for the mind and a speaker whom you and your teams will benefit from listening to. Details below, and don't look for reasons why you can't go, look for reasons why you should.

Leo

Remember that looking after yourself as a leader is something you would encourage all your team to do. Taking a day or a morning out for PLD is strategic, sound practice, likely to produce better output and make you a better person.

Rico Gomez- Fighting Metal Fatigue, Looking for Revitalisation
